The importance of member attendance at Selfmed’s 2015 AGM

May 26, 2015

As you are no doubt aware, all Medical Schemes in South Africa are governed by the Medical Schemes Act 131 of 1998 and this is monitored and administered by the Council for Medical Schemes (CMS).

The regulations specify several requirements to ensure that a scheme is managed in the best interest of its members and in an open and transparent manner.

One of the most prominent stakeholder communication avenues is the Annual General Meeting (AGM). This is your opportunity to interact with the Trustees and management of the Scheme.

I would like to personally, and on behalf of the Board of Trustees, invite you to attend the AGM on the 20th of June 2015 at 11am at the Bell Rosen Guest House in Bellville, Western Cape.

The Notice and relevant documentation has been dispatched via email or post, and if it has not already been delivered via post, then it should arrive soon.

You are also more than welcome to visit the Selfmed website on where all information pertaining to the AGM is available.
