Therapeutic reference pricing (TRP) represents the maximum price that the Scheme will fund for specific medicine or classes of medicine linked to Selfmed's list of chronic conditions. The TRP varies per option and condition. It applies per 30-day month and is inclusive of VAT. A member will need to pay the difference between the cost of the medicine and reference price at the point of dispensing. Use of a pharmacy other than Chronicare courier pharmacy or Clicks Direct Medicines (Selfmed's designated service providers) may result in a further co-payment.
