1. What are my benefits for HIV/AIDS?

Benefits will be payable in respect of anti-retroviral medicine, pathology, clinical procedures and doctors consultations. Benefits are subject to registration on the Scheme's Disease Management Programme.

2. Who will manage my HIV/AIDS benefits?

HIV/AIDS case manager at the Scheme's managed healthcare provider (Optipharm), will manage your treatment plan.

3. What is the HIV/AIDS Programme?

HIV/AIDS programme is a comprehensive Disease Management Programme designed to provide managed access to the benefits for HIV/AIDS, as well as education and support.

5. What about confidentiality?

The HIV/AIDS case manager work in a confidential unit, with separate telephone, fax and private mailbag facilities. Queries can only be handled by the HIV/AIDS case manager and will be treated with complete confidentiality.
