Full names: Barry D. Reide - Chairman

Professional Experience: Received his initial training as an accountant and became involved in Marketing and Sales in the late 1960's. He has spent 30 years in the shipping container industry, including 22 years with a large American equipment leasing company in Regional, Marketing and General Management positions both in Africa and Europe. Currently he consults to the chemical, fuel, and transport industries on the storage and shipment of bulk liquids.

Philosophy: Passionate about service delivery and believes that our members deserve the highest level of service that the Scheme can provide.

Full names: Mellville Bartlett - Vice-Chairman

Professional Experience: MBA from University of Cape Town. Owned and managed a packaging manufacturing company. Represented local and international companies at Board level. Member of Selfmed Board of Trustees since 1999.

Philosophy: To ensure the development of an efficient scheme which is market related and can provide world-class service to be of benefit to the members.
